The Perfect Campground for Long Nature Breaks
Camp Double Bear is a private camp devoted to retreats in meditation and the arts. Situated on 100 acres in the rugged Santa Cruz Mountains, the land extends from lovely Bear Creek up the hill to the campsite forested with madrones, firs, oaks, bays, and redwoods.
Double Bear is designed for groups of 30 or less, (more in the summer), and visits longer than a weekend are favored.
Camp Double Bear will be Permanently Closing October 1st 2024
All of Our Yurts Have:
- Woodstoves (firewood is provided)
- Big bathroom has a gas heater.
The camp is "off the grid" which means that the electrical sources are solar panels with a backup generator. The Camp has water from its own spring, but in Summer flow is low and conservation is important.
